Tech House

Hi, does anybody know of any good 'tech house' type of tunes.

I'm thinking along the lines of digital witchcraft - fingerpaint

The tunes need not have vocals but I'm after a kind of dark, dirty tech edge.

M83 have made some nice stuff that has a very dark feel to it. Check out the 'Before The Dawn Heals Us' album. I took a chance on it at the start of this year and was not dissapointed. It has a kind of industrial feel to it aswell. Check out the originals or the remixes of tracks like 'Teen Angst'.

Check stuff and artists on Treibstoff, Raum...musik, Traum Schallplatten, Cocoon Recordings...lots of quality tech-house along with minimal and dub. Not stuff like digital witchcraft though, as the latter is deemed Progressive afaik.

DJ T - Philly. One of the best tech house tunes I've heard. DJ Has many other great tech house tunes, other notable would be Freemind. Check him out!

Pryda has made some nice tech house and some darker stuff like 'Pryda -Aftermath'.

I wouldn't really think of Fingerpaint as "tech house". Its more housey, ambient, breaks.. idn. But if you like that track, I would recommend this.

AlphaStarred has the right idea.

go check out some Maetrik, Jake Fairley, some of Dominik Eulberg's stuff too, and Mr. Ozgur Can has been throwing a bit of tech house here and there, and is quite friendfly to first time listeners used to prog, as is Joshua Collins.
