Steve Helstrip / Thrillseekers Hi-Hat Line ....
ANYONE know how to recreate his hi-hat line sound from Need to feel loved ? Ive listen to it over and over ... all Ive come up with is a basic line with compression / or a Line with the resonant pitched up about 5 semitones and the first .3 milliseconds of the closed hat sloped Into the rest of the hat sample ...
anyone have any Idea's or know how to recreate the sound ?
I might as well be the one to say it....
please post a sample

Scoobz - thanks for lettin me know about helpin other people help me by posting up a sample ... I'll do it next time ... thanks .
Icone ... Thats pretty damn close to what Im looking for ... HOW was that line brought up like that ? compressor or pitching ?
Nice one Icone,
I'd say you pretty much nailed it! If I were being ULTRA picky maybe tune it down a few cents, little eq scoop (-0.5 - 1db) at about 5khz and it'd be bang on.
Hope this helps,
Scoobz
