so i just received my echo indigo dj sound card, and when I plug it in, my Apple G4 OS X 10.4.1 freezes. fine. so i go to the echo website and download the newest driver (v 1.3, from 2003) and apparently this version only supports OS X 10.2.

Do they seriously not have a driver version written for 10.4?!?! Or am I overlooking something... fuck, i am PISSED!

anything you guys can tell me would be awesome.

10.4.1 should be backward compatible with any other previous X versions, so that shouldn't be the problem. I've been using 10.4.1 for a few weeks now and I have noticed that, despite how amazingly useful the dashboard is, it's a load of shit. My computer's slow, sluggish and nothing is running right...not even my settings are staying the same.

If you have 10.3.x use that. Steer clear of 10.4.x until Apple fix a load of bizarre bugs that are dogging this system.

Just my opinion.
