don't get a numark...
i've had trouble with numarks before, and they definelty don't last

for the price range, take a look at stanton, allen & heath xone 02, pioner, vestax...?

stay away from behringer, american dj...

but that's only my opinion and what i would stay away from.

I would stay away from the PPD01, I've heard a fair few bad things about it, Numark in general hasn't got too far with there mixers, there DXM range is not bad for the price, but you should try and save up for a stronger, better built mixer, if you can get one the Vestax PCV-275 is awesome for the price, also Eclers new range of Nuos are something that should be considered, also the Denon line aswell, I dunno about Stanton, I don't hear many good things from there lower range mixers, but when you get into there higher range they really seem to shine, also the Pioneers are good if you can find them for the right price, they are old technology, but they are built like tanks and will serve you well.

What bout the Vestax PMC - 250.......im tryin to get the whole gear....2 numark ttx1 (still deciding on the mixers) and a final scratch

sounds like you got a nice idea in your mind about what you want to get...don't know much about that mixer, but i've always heard good things about vestax.

i currently own a stanton smx 401, i like it and i woudln't trade it for anything else in the same price range. if i were to spent more money, then that's a different story. you get a good built mixer for the money you pay.

about final scratch, i don't use it, but most of the people i've talked to seem to like serato scrath live a lot more than the live scratch

although you'll find users that will argue either side...check between the two programs before you buy either or.

i bought 2 sl 1200 mk5s and an xone 62....but im thinkin of trading the xone 62 for a 92 and sacrifice speakers cuz of the price range difference of the two mixers.....what do u think of it?

question is...are you happy with the xone 62? why pay more and sacrifice the speakers when i think the 62 will most likely be sufficient...yes the xone 92 is the god of all mixers with all its features...but the 62 in my opinion (and remember i've only seen both models but have not played on them) will most likely be up to the task.

with all the people upgrading to xone's , you should be able to find a used djm-600 for a really great price.. I have no complaints, the mixer is built strong. I have only used a handfull of mixers myself, and found that Numarks and Gemini suck. The denon 1500 ? was awesome.. djm-500 and the vestax 275 are great aswell.
