Is tofu nasty shit or what? I put some 'tofu dogs' in the microwave and it made the whole house smell like burning plastic.

actually I'll take some of my statement back.

there's one dish that I like...that's tofu based. Ma La tofu. only reason it's good is because there's flavor from the spices and sauce in it. and really....it's only good. not "grrrreat!"

Hmm, is Ma La Tofu anything like Ma Bo Tofu? I would use "grrrreat!"

Tofu + Rice + any meat is just excellent. Tofu in Miso soup.

There are also different type of tofu, depending on what you want to eat it with. There is concentrated tofu, soft tofu...etc.

yep! Ma La is just a bit spicier than Ma Bo tofu. basically the same, just a different preparation based on the region. good stuff though, yeah.
