Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/tranceaddict/www/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database. -- If it says 'Too Many Connections' we already know about the problem and are working hard to resolve it.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser - but wait 30 seconds.

out of interest - what is being done to fix this problem, it's becoming all too frequent for my liking, will disabling anything help it ?

think it boils down to ta being to busy! the summer holidays for schools/collages/uni's dont help either

Swampers and I were discussing this yesterday.

He thinks if Coupers bans you, Boomers, and Floorfiller, the server won't be unduly burdened and will be able to accomodate the rest of us.

So I just pmed Coupers. He'll issue the bans as soon as he gets here and we'll try it for a month just to see if things improve.

I am already banned so mine shouldn't effect the connections.
