SOS on ASOT?

So i'm listening to ASOT right now, and current track is a remix of "The Police - SOS".

i mean, it sounds all right....but wtf?

where did this come from?

and why are we remixing 80s songs?

it's an awesome tune imo. and if it sounds good...let them bootleg whatever the hell they want.

because music from the 80s is sweet

i wouldn't say it's a new trend though... think of all the Depeche Mode remixes, Max Graham vs Yes, Tears For Fears remixes, etc

i realize its nothing really new [no pun intended], and while i do agree that [some] 80s music is sweet...... i just think it should be left alone.

Jumping on the bandwagon, that's all. House artists have been heavily remixing 80's tracks for the past two years.

i dont mind the 80's remixes. the best one ive heard this year is

echo and the bunnymen - lips like sugar (way out west remix)

some of them are just annoying especially if you dont like the original.

cuz these artists are running out of ideas and most trance artists now a days in the scene probably don't even have a musical talent, they're just doing it for the money. imo
