As intelligence goes up...

...Happiness often goes down.

See? I made a graph.

I make alot of graphs.

Though I will say, TA is certainly a happy place

I dont get it!

Posted by Akridrot on Aug-11-2005 23:59:

It makes perfect sense, the smarter you are, the more aware you are of your shortcomings.

But why is my name in your quote Tribu? HUH? HUH!?!?!

Posted by jdat on Aug-11-2005 23:59:

I believe it should be curved more.

I don't think it should be possible to have 0 happiness; you want it to make an infinite curve at the bottom

Posted by Akridrot on Aug-12-2005 00:00:

I have 0 happiness right now, what are you talking about? It's definitely possible.

Posted by Aiwendil on Aug-12-2005 00:02:

I don't trust people who thing they're smart.

heh...heh funny

It seems as if smarter people become more sure they 'have it all figured out'. This pride seems to make them less able to learn lifes harder lessons, and thus happiness decrease.

Posted by sensorium on Aug-12-2005 00:08:

I think it should be curved up at the end when intelligence joins forces with total madness.

A smart person would learn life's lessons. However, the lack of happiness can come from many different sources. Frustration at overwhelming amounts of ignorance, realizing that they're smart but not smart enough to do 'so and so', etc.

Good one _buddy!

Everything has been done before. It is no surprise that people regurgitate something they have learnt earlier.

Life repeats itself & originality decreases over time.

Not everyone watches The Simpsons. And not all keep up with all the episodes.

i say the graph is wrong .. i think you included the "outliers" as part of your data, and it made the graph that way .. did you use the p-test to conclude your accuracy and the bell curve to accurately balance the data that you took ?

/goes off and hides in front of my statistics book ..
