Clubs not normally mentioned

I was just wondering what other smaller clubs does the city have, which never really get mentioned here?

We all probably go to the same clubs over and over, cause they bring in the biggest talent, but what about the small ones?

I'm looking for something new and fun, and I dont really know the club scene all that well here.

Any suggestions?

Maybe, venue + genre + location?

I know it isn't Toronto, but Revolution in Waterloo has a side room called The Purple Room that's all EDM all the time, and our very own Dennis Hahn is a resident there. Tonight, it is himself, Tygon, and DJ Ampz.

Always a seriously, seriously good time. One of my favourites.

Ive always been scared of going into Rev. Always heard bad things about it, except for the Purple room.

Its the Rap, R&B side that brings out the drunks and fights.

It's secluded from those people. Quite secluded. Nothing bad happens in the Purple Room.

LOL! Don't be afraid of Rev....the PR as Cale said completely seperate....you only have to walk through the Rev for a few to get to the PR

well maybe next time my friends want to go, they can go to rev, and ill jump into the purple room

I just moved back to the Loo.... Haven't been to PR in a while, I'll have to make sure I get there sometime soon.

There is a club called Mink on Adelaide I believe it is.....went there last summer with a friend...they have a rooftop patio that plays house music. Along the back they have a 60ft long waterfall. Reall nice club. They have a dress code I believe as well.

Not sure if they still do house on the patio, may want to check into it first....as the inside had hip hop on one of the levels.

Isn't the purple room only open on Fridays?

Moral....what is that other place in Kitchener that we went to that one and only time? It gives you the true underground feeling.

Gravety! What a dank dirty nasty Comfort Zone wannabe hole in the ground that place is! Decent ch00ns though. I've been there a few times but because the K-Town scene is so tight knit there's some unspoken social structure there that I just have never had the time or energy to try to crack.

3am... the wife and her friends should be just about passed out by then, whereas my friends and I will just be getting warmed up!

thursday nites manzone and strong are on the patio tho....ussually a good time....although the dress code is in full effect so you can take a guess at some of the ppl that it draws in.....overall, its a good time tho, for sure.

I guess im looking for places that are not lounges. No dress code, as i dont really have nice clothes to out in...my TV ate all my $$$

Haha, Century Room definatly lost my business when they wouldnt let me in...cause 'i was too young' aka...i didnt fit in.

5ive is great. Their renos have really freshened the space up, especially the lighting.

There is also the Starlight Lounge at 47A King St. N. in Waterloo. I've had many enjoyable evenings there, especially the mainstay of J. Hunsberger.

Also in Kitchener, Frequency Nightclub has hosted some good dnb nights IIRC. Memory isn't too good there

my friend Brent @ Fly has been doing production lighting for longer than alott of us have been alive. his light shows are just incredible, nothing is pre programed.

Sorry, I meant the ambient lighting with the coloured LCD system in the ceilings and walls.
