His last competitive game was Milan's 1-0 defeat by Olympique Marseilles in the 1993 European Cup Final

Van Basten spent two years trying to overcome his injuries but in the end he had to face the inevitable, announcing his retirement in August 1995.

So he wasn't in de 1995 Ajax-team.....
