Rude people at parties....
So my house had a housewarming party. I invited a few people, I just moved here a few months ago so I didnt have that many guests, and my housemates invited lots of people. So it was pretty big party, one of my housemates got pretty drunk, puked, had his eyes rolling in back of his head so we called the ambulance. he was fine afterwards.
so my point is this....have you ever had a party where there were just rude people and they have no respect for the house or anyone that lives there??? we cleaned this morning and i was just astonished that people go thru refrigerators and pantrys and eat and drink whatever alcohol there is to be drank when it isnt even their house????
and it wasnt like we didnt have anything offered, there was chips and dips and we had some alcohol, but it was mainly a BYO party.
i dont know maybe i am just overreacting, but it really sucks when you spent money on your food for the week and now it is all gone....
oh and the music was total crap...
Did you have any fun?
yeah, that is what counts i guess, i just cant believe that people can be like that. *shrug*
BYO parties suck.
Whenever we threw keggers in college, we just charged $5 for a bottomless cup and ALWAYS recuperated the cost of the party.
If you're worried about food you could just go to someone else's party and get some food and bring it back to your place.
I would've been more pissed than having fun, they were very abussive and inconsiderate.
uhad fun. no worries u threw down a party buddy
just think of it. every little mess u make @ a house party. imagine that times all the poeple that go there and ill get messy and shit happens.

to be honest i've never had a house party, although i'd like to, i just can't be fu*ked with all the hassle..
nah, i don't think you are overreacting. you can't help it if it all didn't go to plan. oh, and what a bunch of tighta*ses you must've had there, searching for munchies, alki and sh*t in someone else's house. but hey, at least you had fun!
a few months ago, just a few days before we graduated, we threw a party at a friends house. basically his whole family was out of town so him and I and another friend decided we were going to have a party there. he's got a nice big house out in the country and there was plenty of room so we made some phone calls and people started showing up. we ended up getting about 30 people there that night and spending the whole next day cleaning up his house and searching the house for bottle caps, knowing his mom would murder us if they found out it happened.
long story short, one of my friends showed up who, like you said, had no respect for the stuff there. he got drunk real quick and ended up falling into a table, breaking one of the table legs, passing out in about 3 spots throughout the house, including my friend's 9 year old sister's bed, and pissing on the basement floor.
its ok though.. we wrote stuff all over his face and back with permanent marker while he was out. woke up and didnt have a clue. funny shit.
when i was a sophomore in college, we threw a homecoming party at our house (3 kegs). it was a pretty big party. later in the night, the cops came by. all my roomates locked themselves in their rooms and wouldn't come out. I was the only one left to open the door. (it would have been REALLY bad if the door was opened and no one who lived there answered). the thing is, the others were 21 and i was not and i was drunk. we ended up getting a noise violation, which was common for parties in the town where i went to school. when it was time to go to court, no one in the house made time to go with me (of 8 girls). i agreed that we would do community service but as the alloted time went by no one seemed to care or make time to do it. so i went back to court and when they asked why we hadnt done it i basically said we were slackers and requested a fine in place of the community service. fortunately, they all gave me their share of the fine. but it was a shitty experience.

Oh, the effrontery!
well i think that's something you have to bear with when you're making a party, and i think people don't drink/eat/brake everything in their way purposely, it's alcohol, it happened to me many times, and now im trying to avoid making parties at my own house :>
this shit is bananas, b a n a n a s
OMG FASTMP3 HATES ME, I CRY, I CUT MYSELF

yeh, ive thrown a couple that have gotten a little out of hand. i don't mind people that i don't know showing up, as loong as they already know someone there and just want to chill. now, when mother******s i don't know start going inside my house for no reason, or thibnk they can just enter my kitchen, i begin getting pissed off. my FRIENDS ask me before going in the house or taking something from the fridge, but fucking strangers think they can do it as they please?
cigarrette buts all over the lawn and terrace floors, when i got ashtrays all over the place. empty glasses all over the place, when all they need to do is put it on a table. meh. this is why i stopped throwing big parties and now only respectful friends (and as money hot women as god permits) are allowed.

Yea hosting and throwing a house party will always be stressful you will always have rude people and people wanting to freeload off peoples fridge you cant help but get mad when you have people taking your STUFF. Not to mention the cleaning u have to do afterwards.
I think it's a bit your own fault. you invite friends for a housewarming party, with little alcohol, to make things even worse you let you friends invite their friends (who you prolly even don't know).. anyways what's a good party without alcohol, you could have guessed on your own, that they would look for it after a while
hope you had a great time

So I snatched the bottle out of her hand and drenched her. "Oh, it's only water." Then I told her to get the fuck out of the house because she was dripping on the seats. She wasn't too happy. Stupid bitch. |
