Dunno What religion are you?

This could have been done before, but I did not find anything when i searched for it?

So what denomination (religion) or set of beliefs do you have? Why is that? Is it because of your parents or did you research it (etc).

I don't want this to become a flame war against anyone's beliefs or religion. To me, what another person believes or does not believe doesn't make him/her any better than the rest of us.

I am curious, because I see so many TA's from countries other than the USA that I want to know more about their cultures.

I was baptised Roman Catholic but....

I will give you further info in another post before this one becomes to long to read.

If I were to label myself as practicant of a religion and closing my mind to a set of ideas, I'd be building my own prison. That being said, I was once Roman Catholic with Kardecist influences - this being my parents' religion. As for myself, I've been studying Buddhism, Taoism and Euro-American "Humanities", such as Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.

My set of ideas? Heck, I had Luke 6:37 in my sig which is mainly Buddhist principles with an Euro-American philosophical background.

My brother and sister were baptised as catholics.. but They didn't baptise me.. and we did't go to church... so I guess I have no religion and i believe in anything I want to believe.

I was raised as a Roman Catholic. Not too much of a practicing Catholic though. As of now I really dont consider myself a Catholic anymore. I actually havent decided a religion yet. Maybe one of those that lets you have 50 wives or something.

Posted by Kaidreas on Aug-13-2005 16:16:

^but you have to sacrifice yourself in order to get those 50 virgins

I am no religion at all. I believe religion is an excuse for people to cause wars & arguments just because they're different. To be against people that are of a denomination purely through being born into it, and in some cases treated harshly because of such a fact.
