Hasselhoff was a big star with Knight Rider and eventually Bay Watch later on (even though I think everyone wanted to see the girls from baywatch, not D.H.).

He had a massive hit in Germany with "I`ve been looking for freedom" which must haven been 12-14 years ago. Never heard anything from him again after that.
