A Progressive Trance Set

This is a progressive/trance mix, I am beginning (5 months of DJing), I felt that this one moved quite nicely. I tried to keep it as close to being sontaneous and original as possible. However I did have to re-record it.

Have downloaded it and I'm afraid it doesn't work.

The sound is all scrambled as if it is a corrupt file or something. I'm sure other downloaders will find the same problem.

In fact it made my iTunes freeze so I had to force quit it!!

I really liked your choice of tracklsit and where the tracks came. It started off quite relaxed with tracks like 'Runaway' and 'Mooga' but towards the middle and end I felt it got more epic and hard with tracks like 'Instantly' and ''Guarana'. That's what I like, relaxed start but building towards hard tracks but then an uplifting ending with the last two tracks. Tracks like 'Air For Life' by Above & Beyond (which I've used in my volume 10 mix - unreleased at the moment) and Veit - 'Sky' (in my volume 05 mix) really got me dancing whilst I was listening in my room!

As for your mixing, spot on every time as far as I could tell. Perhaps the 1st and 5th transition beat matching was a little off, but I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't a DJ myself! But all was very smooth indeed. Well done!

I do love those tracks. Melodic, uplifting trance!

Listened and liked for the most part..

Mixing and levels could use some work. I think the first two transitions were the worst but after that it was decent.

Nice track selection although I found some tracks a bit out of place. I thought that Solitude was played a bit early on and the energy seemed to drop on Stealing Beauty; but that's mostly personal opinion I think.

Also I would've liked a higher bit rate, but that's also just a personal comment.

Overall though good stuff. Fresh traxx and yeah! Sky at the end was wonderful!
