U2 : City Of Blinding Lights [4 Strings Remix] ::Spininn::

I've stopped buying vinyl, but I honestly can't wait for this to be released ... more a "collectors" item in my eyes, but would do so much damage on a dance floor with killer pads & a lush melody ...

Anyone liking this track?

City of Blinding Lights is very good without a remix by 4 Strings. It's pretty nice, The melody is awesome for sure.

Posted by Sunquest on Aug-16-2005 23:24:

when posting YOUSENDIT.COM links u have to put a * before the link or anything to make it not a direct link, because they automatically block it when u add it in any post as a direct link

anyways, honsetly this remix sounds like an amateur remix piano doesnt even seem to go on note with the top synth, really wierd remix

compared to "Diving" 4 strings havent been goin up lately

Thumbs up

Very nice tune, I think IMHO the best remix of COBL. I'm a U2 fan and I've also heard the 2 mixes realesed officially on a promo vinyl and they're not really interesting... And one of them, actually, just sucks But this is really nice

Ha, nothing more to add... I saw them live one month ago, it was the best show I've ever seen

Smile

Ive heard the song, and sinceraly i dont think its that amazing... The tune and all arent that bad for a while, but it just gets too repetitive w/o transmitting a whole lot, better w/o the remix

Yep, that's right It'was my first U2 gig, I'll never forget it... You've probably heard of that flag thing, haven't you? I can tell you it was amazing Ha, can't wait for the next opportunity to see them.

I see that you were in Paris

BTW: Nice to see that there ara some U2 fans among trance music lovers. And I thought this is a rare combination

Quite the opposite... Hell just from a production standpoint look how many remies of U2 songs there have been. Should tell you that there is a market...

lucky guy, u had "The Killers" in the first part, in Paris it was "Snow Patrol" :/

i don't think it's a rare combination, because many trance DJs has been influenced by this kind of bands...

(for example, PvD & NUNRG had remixed some U2 tracks...)

Agreed! i also saw them a few weeks ago when they were here in holland, best show i've ever seen.

I like this track, but that's mainly because of the melodies from the original track. Still nice for DJ that they can put some of these beautiful melodies in their sets.

I must say that they did a really good performance! I was really surprised, because support bands usually sucked at the shows I was at. Too bad it was that short, it's probably because of the rain... Luckily it stopped just before U2's gig.

As for the mixes, you're right guys. Wonder how It's possible I didn't think of it earlier I have many great mixes myself... especially Paul Oakenfold's tracks are great (Beautiful Day 2004 Mix, Staring At The Sun)

@ stren Witam, witam I pozdrawiam
