The Love We Lost (Eau mix) by Allure

Here's a lil remix of a nice track...
I wonder if Tijs worked with Cor on this one in congruence with older Allure tracks...

i gotta admit i was looking forward to this remix A LOT because the original is just such a gorgeous track (the title fits the track perfectly you know?). but, although well produced and good, i found your remix kinda lacking in some ways... perhaps a better word is unfinished. you def got a nice beat with a beautiful clap there. and the strings are nice. ...ummm but it just seems a little empty right now. damn i seem to be blabbling but you can def texturize this and make it a bit more fuller. you know? youre obviously not an idiot, youve made a great thing right here. but just keep at it (like we all say). i would def love to hear what else you can do with this. plus, its tough to remix such a unique and wonderful song to begin with.

hehe, you hit the nail on the head.

Quite unfinished, not unlike the vast majority of what I produce.
I can atribute it wholly to the fact that I'm perfectly impatiant hehe.

As for this paticular piece, it's wanting of a lead synth, and a sub-bassline to give it more drive...this version is devoid of rhythm.

Unfortunatly, I doubt that I have the determination to actually finsish it (I was doomed from the start, without an acapella) however, I do love hearing what people have to say.

Especially if it means I can improve upon my craft : D

Thanks for your input

like this one a lot.

it works being minimal. i just recon it needs one more addition. you could chop up the melody in places like on your rmx of an eighties orgasm...

nice stuff yet again put one of your original pieces up soon?

this is truly a gorgeous piece you have made here. listened to it again and now i cant stop. i think this needed a bump to bring it back to the top cos its very nice. i d definately play this as a starting track but id probably pitch it up to 135-138bpm. its great!

i just wish it was longer or extended with another breakdown...

9/10

top darts!
