Would you accept money in exchange for a sex act?

Spurred on by a conversation early this morning in ewe kay tea ay (located in an unnamed chat client�), I was wondering how CORneticans would accept money in exchange for a sex act, thus labeling them as a prostitute for life. Sex act includes manual stimulation of the genitals, oral stimulation (cunnilingus or a blow job), vaginal or anal sex. For argument's sake, we're going to limit this proposition as coming from someone of the opposite sex.

That hardly seems to stand to reason. If I drink a single alcoholic beverage, that hardly makes me a drinker for life, and if attend a class it hardly makes me a student for life, so why should a single momentary act of prostitution make me a prostitute for life?

That my friend makes no sense at all.

Touche, but reveal to one person that you've accepted money in exchange for a sex act and see if you aren't labeled by the immediate social circle as a prostitute.

Conversely, reveal to them that you've drank or attended class. The respective labels will not stand. It's a weird situation, but the people i've come in contact seem to believe that if you've comitted such an act, you are a prostitute.

The logic is correct, but social reaction is often unpredictable.
