Help me decide-- Pioneer DJM-600 or DENON DN-X1500

Looking to upgarde my mixer from a Pioneer DJM-300 to either a DJM-600 or Denon DN-X1500. I have heard the Denon is better in a few ways, but that was from the guy at the music store, and I'm never sure whether or not they have some hidden agenda. Can someone here give me some pros/cons on each mixer and a recommedation, especially from the Denon as those are less common. I know the DJM-600 is the "industry standard", but that doesn't mean much to me seeing I don't play out that much, its just for home personal use.

I've had my x1500 for going on 9 months now and I love it to death. Off the top of my head I can't think of any cons, well, maybe one. For some damn reason, and since I just got my EFX-500 I've not looked to see if there is a solution to this prob yet, if you run the effects loop full wet and have it on even when you have no effect running it audibly changes the output. The way I work around it is running the EFX full wet and adjusting the wet dry knob on the mixer. It's a bit of a peeve, but not a huge problem. Other than that hitch I can think of no other probs I have with the mixer. It performs great, sounds great, and I have no plans of buying a new mixer within the next few years (unless I suddenly am able to afford a Xone:92 at some point).

how bout the Pioneer DJM 1000? If you don't need 4 channels, check out the Rane Empath or an Ecler.

I got to play with the Denon's effects yesterday and I couldn't stop! I had to be literally dragged away after about 2 hours.

Check out the ECLER NUO5....great *reprogrammmable* effects, ETERNAL magnetic x-fader, MIDI output, and better sound quality than the Denon and Pio IMHO

The DJM-1000 is about $2900 (USD).

Whereas the DN-X1500 can be had for about $650.

Not quite in the same category

i used the denon a looot this summer in calgary (thanks j:/digital and dannyo) but i didnt like the delay on the faders, i suppose if u buy it now, it may already be fixed, but if u buy an older issue of it, there a crazy bad delay on the faders, and i mix breaks and house and i need to cut quickly and precisely, i also like the 600 a lot, but its getting tired but for stanard mixing, its solid.

if i was to pick id say pio 600.

i want a nuo4.... midi.... ooooo

Is the x1500 sound quality comparable to the xone 62?
