this game has become MASSIVE. everyone i know either plays it or knows someone that does, and most people even have their own casino style chip sets.. pretty crazy !
I love the game but I have to admit it is dam addictive!!
does anyone here play it / have any good tips on winning?

I love watching World Poker Tour.....awesome stuff. Some of the cheeky bluffing and raising that they do is just incredible. It would take a lot of balls to bluff on a million dollar pot!
My friends and I have had a couple of really good poker nights as well, and we have the proper set of chips and everything.

yeah a friend of mine bought the proper table with the chip compartment, drink holders and leather pads and now we seem to be playing atleast once a week.. gotta love the bluffs!
tip on winning... get all your friends so drunk that they don't know what they're doing. you won't need to bluff at that point

haha +1 a friend at uni has the full kit, we played a couple of times on our uni trip, it was fun 
i like watching the tv show too its funny, especially the commentators with special comments and stuff
i played it with some canadian guys i met in Thailand, heaps of fun

Agreed with the addictive comment. Although I gotta be the unluckiest player, I always lose with absolutely killer hands.
Ever since i first saw it i loved it and i cant stop playing all the time.
yeh cards have always been fun...but when you add money into the game it really livens things up
lol the other night we were playing until about 4am, and by the end of it we were so tired that we just started doing open hands (you show everyone your cards and you deal in the same way, its just based on pure luck).. ended up being a $250 pot in the middle and i won on a pair of 4's hahaha ! *im no gambler though*

Im one that bluffs alot when i have nothing at all then once the other players have figured out that i always bluff i just start mixing it up. Iv probably won more games with a crap hand then i have with a good one.
Not saying that i win a hell of a lot but its damn fun playin like that.

umm as far as tips go, its about playing the people rather than the cards (haha picked it up in the movie) so if you have a masters in behavioural science or just like studying people then you should kill it.

I prefer 500 to poker, it's a lot more skill based.
