you can get in with those shoes, but saturdays suck now, to much hip hop, you have to go on a sunday and there isn't a dress code on sundays i don't think

well i got in. the music was pretty good actually, i didnt mind the few hip hop songs they played when the dance floor actually got full. and the hip hop room wasnt bad either.

yep, according to jayx there wasn't enough 'support' when it was a house nite. i personally thought the night i went it was a pretty good crowd enjoying the music, but i was only there one time on a saturday when it was strictly house, so i can't comment. its just a huge pet peeve of mine when two rooms at a club are playing exactly the same music. its so annoying, i thought one room of house and one of hip hop would be the perfect compromise, but obviously that didn't work for them, as it doesn't seem to work for many clubs in toronto. its a shame, but everyone likes their mainstream shit music in toronto (or northamerica for that matter) so thats how it is.

It just so happens that EDM is mainstream over in Europe. So it looks like they like their mainstream shit music just like us.

heh, i remember yestarday after i left the hip hop room they were playing a 50 cent song and 5 minutes later they were playing the same song in the main room! and they did that with several tracks that night (pon de replay, ciaras song and that missy elliot song)

Actually the hip hop in the last 2 weeks has been less and less and more toward the beginning of the night. We are starting to get a crowd that seems to be more into house. Lil Pete also tries his best to stick to the popish hip hop instead of the gangsterish stuff to try and keep the atmosphere a little more lively while at the same time appeasing all the 19 year old girls who want to hear "hip Hap"

I was there last saturday and Hip Hop was used as the warm up music. Just to get people grooving and dancing. There's not much of warm up style house tracks that are mainstream or that would get the people who came because of the add on Z dancing. Its alright, hip hop gets people on the floor until around 12 and then the house comes on.
