What sort of trance are you into?

The more uplifting progressivesque side, or the dark, gloomy sad stuff, or even hard nu nrg stuff.?

I like both, however I'm not into the really hard trance stuff..really boomy. I'm mostly into buidling sets and mixing light and dark prog trance with faster, more uplifting epic trance, mixed in with a little ambient here and there. But I haven't really developed myself much as a DJ so alot of it is just what I look for in my playlists...

I love uplifting, elevated trance and also hard dance/trance with a bit of tech trance.

I do like some progressive trance (but not much) if it carries a melody of some sort.

despite all the labels for different types of trance i havent heard any trance genre that i didnt have a favorite song in. I guess i can say the one i dislike most is progressive. Flames accepted, i just seem to find more stuff i think is garbage in that genre. Maybe its cuz their is more stuff

techtrance is probably my most consistently favoured genre at the moment. i love uplifting when it's done well; powerful, energetic & memorable... however tracks like that seem to be in the minority these days.

i used to love progtrance but over the past few years i've gone off it alot, haven't liked the direction its been taking

same here. I don't like being narrowminded and just listening to one type of trance. Trance is a broad definition and there is so much good trance out there in different styles, progressive, uplifting, psychedelic etc etc to explore. I like'em all. as long as they are god 8)

exactly.....dark, progressive, uplifting, euphoric, tech, psy....but it can change on any day depending on my mood......one day ill be playing the darker side of trance, then another day ill just want to play uplifting stuff......or then another day just play anything

I used to be really into my uplifting, but over time, ive found myself liking harder stuff... even to the point of HardStyle... i could listen/dance/enjoy most different types of trance... its all good.
