E:mortal - Birth of a Phase [epic trance] *updated*

Just finished this one

It's a bit harmonic, dark and mysterious. Thinking of having this as the outro track for the E:mortal album.

Here's the track

Does it work?

Works alright for me
Beginning sounds like movie soundtrack lol, a little fluffy but when the beat comes in the melody is much much more interesting. Nice choir in the background. Melody once again is very interesting. Percs are simple, but good. I was kinda waiting for a little more powerful beat during the climax around 4 minutes. Great track, it follows a standard trance build but the melody really makes it stand out.

wow, like the start, it does sound alot like a movie soundtrack good thing. You build up the tension pretty good. OOOOOOO, really like the dark feel when the beat kicks in, very , well, interesting lol. Really like the feel to this one, does sound alot like a remix of a movie theme, very nice string work in it , it's very original I think. Great work

Cheers

Hey Fredrik,

hot stuff as usual and a Ryan mentioned, its really sounding like a movie-theme. Really cool, really epic.

But I think you have to make this song last quite a bit longer. Its really hot, but I think, that its too short. This one definately could be last 4 minutes longer, I think.

Regards, Rock.

Thanks mate!

I dunno, might be cool to keep this one short and sweet
I'll think about it though, there is a possability I could do a break in the middle of the track to do some filler.

I've updated the track now to adress some things, like better groove at places, more variation in the middle, and better intro/outro.

I've updated the link above

The intro reminds me of the break in AVB's serenity. Melody is very good, but it felt like the percussions had no power.

Right, I've made a LOT of changes now to the track and its 7 minutes long. Also I added a new part, and I would like to know if it all fits well together. I would appreciate if anyone could take a listen.

hmm.. cool, maybe that extra part changed it too much then.. gonna see more feedback on it, if more feel that way I'm going to delete that part

..Or not.. I kinda want to make an album with music you listen to, then I have some peeps that are going to make remixes for me that will work better on the dancefloor

Yeahaw, Fredrik, i luv it.

U made it just a little bit better than before.
Very nice tune.
Sounding a little bit like the "Sensation White Anthem 2004" in the beginning. "The Rush" would be proud of this.
Really nice, diggin that stuff. Loving the orchestral sounds at the ending, just really nice made. Like a trip in the neverending story.

Very strong elements, but I still wish, you make it last longer, this beautiful, rockin trip.

I loved it but it has too much classical sound to it. The main melody sounds nice but then the last note change sounds too classical. Other than that, that is so nice, hehe. =)

Thanks!

I feel pretty satisfied with how it turned out
Next one is going to be a long uplifting trip
