Come To Me (Eau mix) by Holden & Thompson

I've always loved James Holden's sound...
and coupled with Julie Thompson, there's
always a memorable track at hand.

So, here's my take on this nice track...

Nice remix man! Love the breakdown

It kicks in nicly.
The bass is bad and it's off key.
So is the sine riff.

I don't find anything exciting there.

2/5

I like the simplicity of it. I haven't heard the original either, but I very much like this. I think this would make a great intro track to a trance set.

AGreed... may not sound to exciting... neither does the original mix lol
I love this mix, may i use it in my mixes?

it sounds like the bass is off key but thats how it sounds on the original. its a very confusing track but thats why i love it. i really enjoyed the rmx. well done, professional and with a signiture to it. it doesnt sound like the same old trance and would probably appeal to listeners of deep trance.

glad to see someone rmxing a track that id be too scared to attempt and congrats on succeeding.

my most recent track may appeal to you. i wrote it after listening to holden amd thompson...

its called 'spaceman' and its on a working thread of mine and my website... please check it out

Thanks for the feedback!

I was concerend about the sequencing of the notes too...
very abstract...(also my guitar thing is too low!)
I've never tried anything like it before, so i figured...why not? hehe

I'm relatively new to producing, so I apreciate all varieties of feedback...

That being said, I'd love to work on some trakcs with fellow tranceaddicts...remixes, or otherwise : )

if anybody is interested you can reach me at djeau@msn

"Zocalo" remix coming soon!

you can use a off-key bass, but here you can use only 1 major chord.
Pretty nice but not really rich and deep as I love prog...
I prefer my remix!

wow! fantastic stuff... i agree with Aquarian that it'd be a good intro to a trancey proggy set!!! Eau once again bringing the quality sounds

what a mindblower
the vocals are a m a z i n g
you used them very nicely
i'm not a big fan of the sine '2 note arp'.
great beats and a kickass bassline
swell!
