Google Talk is in beta and requires a Gmail username and password.

Im using Gtalk (google talk) with GAIM, since I dont want to use AIM/MSN/Gtalk all seperate. It seems ok so far, still gotta see how things pan out.

You can use Gtalk with Trillian. You just need trillian pro which supports Jabber. You could also use GAIM.
