Top 100 Poll Breakthrough DJs

While we're all on the topic of the DJ mag poll, I wanted to start a thread on who everyone thinks will breakthrough this year and really move up on spots. I picked five DJs I'm "nominating" for breakthrough this year on the basis of one simple rule - no top 30 finish in either 2003 or 2004. Here's my picks

1. Jon o'Bir
2. Nic Fanciulli
3. Above and Beyond
4. Max Graham
5. A comeback by Timo Maas

he pretty much dominated the house scene in terms of his productions this year. Not sure what he's been up to as a dj though.

that must have been a hell of a night. I spent a semester abroad last year in The UK and loved it from a clubbing standpoint. What venue did you catch them at?

A bunch. I saw Prydz and Ingrosso in Milan and all 3 in London. What venue I dont remember the London one maybe Kings Cross.

This was back when I liked to drink.....

graduated a little while ago. usually when someone mentions poughkeepsie they either went to marist or worked for IBM.

Perry O'Neil

I really enjoyed his set back in March when he opened for Armin. And I also have to say that his productions really kick ass. Waveforce is a really great track that Armin hammered a lot and then when Myst finally got released this year I couldn't stop myself from hitting repeat on my cd deck in the car over and over again. There are also a few more out there that he has done but those are my 2 favs.
