Any Greeks?

Any of the college community of ta in the greek system? I've been to a few frat parties and had a great ass time.. i'm probably gonna rush this fall. No harm in rushing.. don't have to join up if I don't like it.

Any input?

Most of the ones I know are douches, too. There's a frat at the school I go to that has a really diverse membership. It's not the cookie-cutter, abercrombie-wearing tools that most people think of when they think of frat guys.

We'll see. I think I'll just continue going to their parties and not join.. hehe.

I'm an honorary member of josh4s frat. I've DJed some of their parties and i know a lot of the guys in there.

but its at a different school. i dont like the fraternities at my school.

Rush as much as possible - free beer. Frats always have open parties as well. Pay cover charge and they stamp your hand. Find out what the stamps are under a blacklight, and you can replicate them very easily with Tide and water mix applied with a toothpick under a black light. In essence, after you learn the hand stamp symbols the frats use, you can go to any fraternity party and drink for free, they never change the stamps. Going to rushes is a good deal as well, since you meet people which invite you back all the time whether you're a member or not (you being a cool dude). I always told the frat brothers that the hazing part was no big deal to me, it was just the fact that I didn't want to get tied down with one party group. Worked out for the best anyhow, since I went to all the best parties about nonstop throughout college.

Well, that was my experience many years ago for what it's worth.

UF, one of the biggest party schools around and their frats dont allow open parties.. you are either a brother or a close friend of a brother or any female...

males are kinda SOL...

a stabbing or two back in 98 kinda changed things....

thats for university of florida... i cant speak for other schools.

hmm..i have some cousins back in baltimore and..all i can realise was that greeks who lives in greece are way too much different from those greeks who are far away...in a way they are different...dunno how to explain it i cant actually
