737 Altitude - Montreal
OK team - I am getting married, and for my stag weekend we are going to Montreal. We have decided to go to 737 Altitude.
Does any one know anyone who can get a party of 18 guestlist there?
Apparantly they need 2 weeks notice....
Know of any other good places for "clubbing"? lol
cheers

congrats Hark! all the best on this
CONGRATULATIONS on gettting hitched!
personally, i don't think the 737 falls under our clubbing definition of standards. it really is a super nice place (but gino cheesy-like!!!
) i've been there many times before i even discovered and understood the afterhours scene. you could definitely use that as a place to start off with, i.e. pre-/ drinks out on the patio on the highest building DT Mtl overlooking the skyline.
as for guestlist...yea they are super stingy on who or how many they let in and even with the dress code...so i don't know if this really is something you're looking for. if you don't want to do the afterhours thing, then go to any of the bigger streets like st laurent, st denis, st catherine ... for good old fashioned bar hopping and alc-influenced booty shakin on the streets and patios.
but do ask malek! he knows!!
HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC TIME ... "one last time"! hehehe
..but Montreal has that charm ... that just pulls you in ... it doesn't matter where you go ... you don't have to plan anything ... it will just do it for you!
just go for it, be spontaneous & enjoy the ride of montreal's magic!
Hey! Congratulations!
I only spent a month in Montreal this summer and I never got to do much clubbing!!!
Definitely try and go to Aria and/or Stereo. All the Montreal TA's were telling me to go there. But I had to leave early so I didn't get the chance. *sigh*
good luck and have fun!!
Katie

i'm in montreal right now and its disgusting how crazy this city is. i am here for a promo beach tourney on St. Laurant, they closed the street and its packed with people....unreal. Try Radio Lounge, thats where we partied last night and it was amazing.
737 isn't bad. Ive been there maybe 4-5 times so far. Im not a fan of the crowd that goes there though, but the setup is nice.
Best "regular" club in the city is Central Station imo. Great crowd, and they play excellent music in the main room. Its definately my favourite regular club in the city.
Check out Stereo, Aria, and Circus afterhours though, they are all great
don't ask me cause its my stag party too this saturday,............ hehehe
I went there on friday May 20th. The music played was hip hop. The crowd was fairly young, as in I dont think there were any people above 22 except my friends and I. I am not sure about Saturday as it may be another crowd all together. It might be a good start off.
I've heard that another good place to just have fun is Thursdays. There are two floors, the top one being a pub, and the bottom a revolving floor night club. The crowd in here is a bit older. Near Thursdays, there are a few other places that you can check out as it is in one of the entertainment areas.
For afterhours I recommend Circus. There was a good ratio between guys and girls, on saturday night they played house on one floor and hip hop on other floor. And if you get tired of dancing there is something there that I have not seen at any other clubs, but Ill let you find out what it is by yourself.
