Be Cool! so i wanna google my hair... the results are in!!!

i wanna use this but i'm afraid it will come out too white-greyish looking. i want it to be on the yellow-side of white. (confusing i know.)

has anyone used Manic Panic before? i'm thinking of using volume 30. 40 is the higher level of their bleach products.

anyone have any better suggestions? the stuff in commonplace drug stores just doesn't work (ie clairol bleach out, loreal, etc)

i think i'm gonna add a tiny strip of light blue on the side of hawk right above the corner of my forehead..

lmao... 5 consecutive google threads...

Never used the manic panic bleaching system- its a rather new product. you could always go to a beauty supply store and ask for the components to bleaching your hair (30 or 40 volume perox. w/the powder to mix).
Depending on whether u've already dyed your hair in recent months, or how light your hair is to begin with, results may vary. If u see it going TOO light for your taste, wash it out at that point.

hi nat!!!

what have you used?

in the past 8 months, i've dyed my hair....over 6 times. (more, but i lost count.)

but i have a little mohawk now, so actually the hair on my head now has only been affected by 3 dye jobs. i think. it's a wheat blonde color now.

enough with the red, nachos!!!

i like red- but more so in the winter. i like being a blondwad in the summer. i never went seriously platinum and i think that time has come. oh yes. it has.

Have u been dying it w/the Clairol/ Loreal home kits, or other Manic Panic colors? Too many of those home kits, with constant shifting of shades (going from brunette to redhead to blonde within short periods) can sometimes make your hair turn greenish. (< not referring to bleaching w/manic panic)

I cant recall the name of the bleaching products I've used, but they were some basic 40 volume peroxide w/bleaching powder from a beauty supply place. I need the maximum bleaching power cuz my hair is so dark. Haven't bleached my hair in years tho.

i have been using the Clairol/Loreal stuff but my hair is a really nice color now bc i cut it all off and started anew in may. so the 3 different blonde shades i've dyed it so far turned out pretty good.

My ex-girlfriend got the brilliant idea to highlight her hair blue once. She had straight black hair to start, so one night, her and her friend bleached strips of her hair to lighten it, then dyed it blue. I had already graduated college and went up to visit her the next morning to find her sleeping in bed, with her pillow half-dyed, too, and her highlights were green, not blue. Yellow and blue make green, yellow and blue make green .

I'd just suggest getting professional help first, so you don't end up with the same disaster happening, that is, unless you want green. She also really damaged her hair, which sucks if you have long hair, because it takes so long to grow out the damage. I know that you don't have long hair, so I guess it doesn't apply, though.

I had the wonderful notion to go brunette last fall and hated it on me!!!! (I'm used to being blonde) so, I wanted to bleach out my hair asap! I used the XtremeFX bleach-out tool kit by clairol and it kicked ass for me!...I was a little "tooooo" bleach blonde until my roots started coming in though... I also regularly highlight my hair with the herbal essences fearless highlights HL1-e Cool Blonde formula and if you leave it in about 45 mins... it get's pretty bleached out... that's been my experience! don't know if that helps??????
If you have any questions, pm me if you want!

That's because her hair was so dark to begin with. a single bleaching will not get the light blond results needed to apply the color, & get the results on the label. I've bleached my hair about 4x (at home) b4 I could apply the color. Salons can get it done in a single go, and maintain the health of your hair.

Alright, barosoap yelled at me for "not being on this planet," but other than that it was good. I had fun at PvD, even though his set didn't really do a lot for me. The 1 hour bathroom line may have contibuted to that. He played a lot of tracks I liked, I just never got into it i guess. It was good seeing you, as well as everyone else there. Sorry I didn't talk much, but sometimes I get like that, ya know.

I also couldn't go out afterward because I have LSAT class Sunday mornings at 10, which I didn't make anyhow because I was sick (not hangover, more of a stomach bug).

Great dinner the night before at Montrachet. Highly recommend, but be prepared to spend lots of money. Service and food were amazing. They even gave us 2 free desserts and some caviar between our 2nd appetizer and entrees. Amazing wine selection if you can afford it. Not a tremendout amount of bottles >$100, because the list has a LOT of Burgundys.
