My TOTA family....
Well, one chapter of my life is ending, and another beginning. As some of you know, and many of you don't...I am off to the land of sun, surf, sand and Palm Trees the week of Sept 12th!! Yup, I am moving to South Florida...
I wanted to write this note to all of you though...I consider Toronto my second home, and that is not because of the buildings, or the shopping or the clubs...it is because of the people in Toronto...the TOTA's that have been so friendly and welcoming!
It was just about a year ago that I really was exposed to the family that is TOTA....Since then, I have become a TO addict...at one point coming up from Detroit 5 times in two months...I have met some really wonderful people from Toronto, and it still is my favorite city I have been to so far in North America...I have turned a few Detroiters into TO Addicts as well...and that isn't me, it is all of you!
But with any good story, even though a chapter may end, characters continue in the chapter that begins. I have made friendships with people that I have no doubt will be life-long. I have spent great times with my friends from Toronto in Detroit, Chicago and even Miami! In those places we were not TOTA's...DCS'ers....Canadian or American...we were/are all friends...
So, Labor Day weekend will be my last hurrah for a while in TO....LoL is going to be madness, so come to the End of Summer BBQ and hang out for a drink, some food, great music and friendship....
I will be coming up that Friday Afternoon...this really isn't a clubbing weekend for me (even though I will be clubbing of course) it is a weekend to hang out with the great group of people that I have forged friendships with...I am looking forward to seeing many of you and if you have my number, give me a call and we can have a coffee/drink before I head out on Monday night...
This won't be all bad though...Now all you TOTA's will have a true WMC Insider for next year! And from what I hear, the winters are pretty nice down in Miami...so with some advance warning, I know I owe quite a few of you a couch to crash on!!!!...
I just wanted to say Thank You to all the TOTA's...YOU make TO what it is and are the main reason that I just can't get enough of it!
It's been great partying with you so far Darren, I can't wait to give it one last hurrah!

And though it saddens me to hear that your leaving our TOTA family...Perhaps it's best to say that I hope your move will open up new doors to a bigger extension of the love you'll find from Tranceadicts.
Remember....Tranceaddicts are everywhere, you just have to find us.

have fun in miami..i'll be there to harass u once again for WMC, now that i can't go to detroit to do that.
i had great times partying with u..and randomly meeting u on street corners in foreign cities.

this news saddens me, yet I am happy for you at the same time. Enjoy the heat and the sunshine the way you KNOW I would.
You, my friend, are an awesome top-notch guy! I had a freakin' blast partying and talking to you at Ferry and I cannot wait to chill with you again this weekend! You really are fantastic.
Plus I can never thank you enough for the way you opened up your heart to Tessa and took care of her and helped her out with her whole US adventures!!
I wish you the best of luck with the change in geography and much success in whatever it is you'll be doing down there.
I am envious, as I'm sure you know! Hopefully, universe-willing, I'll be able to attend WMC this coming year and check your ass out down there in the summer heat!

Was great meeting you and partying with you too Darren. I am heading to the cottage for the LOL weekend so I won't be able to give you a good luck hug in person but I am sure we will cross paths again on the dancefloor sometime in the future. Best of luck in Florida mate!
It's been a blast Darren - sorry to hear we won't be seeing as much of you in Toronto, but now that I have family in Florida, maybe I'll come visit you down there!

I met you briefly outside of Bleu in detriot after Gabriel and Dresden ( i was one of shannys friends).. hopefully i'll get to see you again at L.O.L but if not, best of luck to you in your future man.. have an amazing time in Florida
