opus 17 is repetitive...
rank 1 - opus 17
is basically too long and repetitive. its a good concept (although its been done before in shorter length in adagio for strings)....
but the song length is really pushing it.
maybe they need to learn a thing or two about making 12 minute songs from way out west.
*waits for Benno's remarks on this.
I will admit, Opus 17 is definitely not my thing. I've had enough of those epic symphony tracks. Top Gear is where it's at in my book.
I personally like Opus 17 more then Top Gear and i find Top Gear to be Rank 1's worst work, but i respect the idea of them trying new sounds rather then being boring and having the same sound.
I think Opus 17 is the best track this year...it's soo epic and beautiful

a hamster once ate the ass out my pants. i felt exposed seeing this was at school. My teacher tried to get me to change but they were my favorite pair. It scars me till this day to know that the whole day my ass was showing off to the world and its all because of that hampster.
years later i found him and ate him. that will teach him to eat pants
If you don't like repetitive you might be in the wrong genre, pal...

Decent track, indeed a little repetitive. Top Gear is alot better.
Not to be too critical, but it's basically Orange Theme Part II, only five years too late.
Top Gear, on the other hand, is right up there with the Lyteo remix.
i don't like it at all. it's just too basic, doesn't bring anything new to the table.. this formula can work if it features a brilliant main melody, but this one does nothing for me. 10 minutes of standing still for me on the dancefloor..
Top Gear all the way!

opus 17 is a hit for me.
the melody is awesome. i love those symphonic style tracks.
although it was done million times before
i care mostly for the melody.
its the only thing that cannot ever be repeated.
about the length, u dont need to hear all of it.
and for top gear, like one said before, one of their most worst prodection ever. but i respect theier progress and trying to change a bit.
