Problem with my Mp3 player

Ok i have this player,

RD2850 HD player and it got all jacked up on my way to japan. When i press play it says "unable to load files! reset unit to resume operation. upgrade lyraHD files if problem persists.", and then the jukebox shuts down. I have tryed everything! My laptop died on the way over too, and my life is on that thing theres only like 200mb left on that player and i cannot lose that data. I'm breaking down...help.
