I fucking hate the news, everything is such a fucking disaster, throwing phrazes like N.O. will be destroyed 30 feet of standing water... God i hate the media... I remember after andrew in miami they interviewed my brothe in front of our house then on the news the put his image infront of a house that was destroyed..... It just soo happened he said something catchy and they wanted to air it.... God knows what they can do with technology today that was almost 13 years ago...

ya man, the media is messed up! They were talking about how this was going to be like the tsunami, and 30,000 people could die, and how it was worst natural disaster in centuries, and how new orleans would be wiped off the face of the earth, and how toxic sludge would give everyone in lousiana cancer.

It's all hyped up bullshit to make you watch the news and bring in money from their advertisements.

Michael Moore said it best, and I use this phrase whenever the news overhypes bullshit:

"The killer bees are coming!"
