The Bookmark dilemma

Firefox has destroyed my bookmarks-NOT REALLY! This time, I have too many bookmarks in Various html files! This is unbelievably frustrating when I want to organize my info (some files are 200k!).

I already searched for FREE bookmarks manager and HTML manager on google. And all I got is GAY SHAREWARE.

Please help, I need a solution for my abundance of bookmarks.

I don't want do it manually, because it'll take weeks! If I had a program to do it for me, I'd be able to finish in like 3-4 days.

Help, plz?!

lol ( sorry that's the first thing that came to mind was that queer expression .... and I think I said it out loud at the same time too ).

If you ever happen to find a good solution let me know as well.
I've always been the king of insane amounts of bookmarks.

One computer once had 15 000 bookmarks .....

I have this habit of bookmarking every site that's remotely interesting

We're both Info Junkies!

It sucks, because there are some sites I could really use sometimes, and I cant't fucking find them. If I could categorize all my bookmarks, I'd be so happy, but there's too many.

I even bookmark pictures, and then the site that pictures were on. Making everything complicated!

edit:Of course, I've stopped doing this after awhile. But I can't undo the past, so please help!!!

No, no, no. Not forum bookmarks; General bookmarks.

After using stumbleupon to come across random websites, pictures, flash games, movies and programs, you'll be floodes with stuff. And when you go googling and find one interesting article- Leading you to a forum- Leading you to a cool website some member linked- leading you to great music- leading to another article on a kick ass website about them- leading to ARRGH!!!

See? That's how it always happens! With plenty of bookmarks on the way..

i know what a bookmark is. mine isnt full of TA thread links. all i have is:

Football homepage
computer forum which i now never visit
ta control panel
online banking shortcut
currency calculator
dictionary.com
cinema listings which i also never use
then 4 links to various sites for interesting things i want to read

I just dont see how unless ur massively disorganised, u need 1000's of links.
