That show is hilariously awkward and uncomfortable to watch. I love it.

thanx john!

since six feet under is done ........ and sopranos has another half year before season 6......i've been catching up on deadwood, and really enjoying it.

So you really recommend Rome, even after one episode?

Posted by sot on Aug-30-2005 07:31:

but entourage, curb your enthusiasm, sopranos, sex and city (when im bord and i allredy seen all curb your enthusaism episodes 10 times) all are good shows..saw the wire and six feet under once but didnt get hooked like the above shows. hbo can be an addicting channel lol

It looks like it has potential. The opening credits had me worried, because i was really looking forward to this show starting, and I thought that they were really cheesy.

How is the 2nd season of Deadwood? I watched the first season, but wasn't really getting home early enough to catch the 2nd when it aired. I think it's still available On Demand, though. Can't wait for the new Sopranos season, though. It's soooo far away.

Yes, I'd like to strangle Lisa Kudrow. Anyone know what Curb or Ali G starts up again?

Posted by toxa on Aug-30-2005 16:35:

yes sopranos should be back in march...

as for deadwood, i just finished the first season and moved on to the second, and it is definitely not a letdown so far (a lot of further character development in season 2).

Not really, it's just awkward, boring, and uncomfortable to watch. Crub your enthusiasm and Da Ali G show are HILARIOUS.

Sucks that 6 ft. under is gone, but ROME looks really good so cant complain too much.

surely you must be joking

who wants the real world

I looked on mininova.org and there seems to be the most recent episodes but not a lot of seeders I'd have to say.

I thought tonight's episode was very building. Makes me look forward to what's to come. Lots of promising personal subplots in addition to the main storyline

OK, first off, prefacing by saying i'm messed up, but the 3rd episode of Rome is on HBO on Demand on RCN right now. The 2nd isn't up yet, it says error, but the 3rd is. I've only watched the first 5 minutes, but from recollection, this isn't mislabelled, it's new from the 2nd episode, supposedly premiered tonight. If you're a HBO junkie with no self control, I suggest you check it out. But then you do condemn yourself to no new episodes for 2 weeks.

Edit: Definitely Episodes 2 & 3 up, no Episode 1. I won't ruin it for anyone, but it starts with Caesar crossing the Rubicon, which is where it left off with tonight episode. Enjoy

tried watching Rome last weekend and just couldn't get into it. The season finales of Entourage and The Comeback were awesome tonight though.
