Thanks

Yeah, the Marc Van Linden mix is great !

The tracklisting is looking quite nice. Enjoyed the songs at all.

But some of your fades are a little bit too harsh and to fast imo. But at all your not off-beat, thats the most important thing.

At all I think its good. Keep it going, m8.

Thanks alot for your feedback

I have been mixing now for a year, on a fairly basic setup, and the comment about the fades is ture - i normally get mixing, and fade it too quick due to worrying about the beats slipping !

Glad you enjoyed it anyway I'll heed your advice

Shameless bump, as i'll be taking this mix offline in 3 days, to replace it with something else (I only have 100mb of webspace!).

Any further feedback/tips would be welcomed

Uninspired mixing of a trance by numbers set.

Take a few risks next time mate , they dont all have to sound like a bad Ferry Corsten mix.

Posted by alister on Sep-05-2005 09:31:

I'll go with the mixing comment - I haven't been mixing for long at all, and i'm still learning alot on that side of things

But as for trance by numbers - there are plenty more generic mixes posted on here than that one, and i can't recall Ferry Corsten playing 75% of those tracks. I'll admit its more Paul Van Dyk inspired, but then anyone could see that.

Cheers for your comment anyway
