Move over MP3, aac might have been around for a LONG time now, but it's reached new heights, and finally getting pushed out and being used! Shouldn't be too long before aac stations in surround pick up, just need more content really
not quite trance, but never the less, definitely some cool stuff to listen to

(erm, you might need a newish version of winamp to decode it to hear it)

and I reckon those here releasing sets and remixes and what not should use aacPlus now, try encoding at 64kbps stereo (or even less!) - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised (hah, sifn't at the very LEAST use ogg vorbis... mp3 should be well gone by now, LET GO ALREADY )

I was reading an article about new technologies to hit DJ Booths in IDJ Amazing stuff really!! Almost makes it hard to grasp where the market and talent will flow towards..

So far by memory i have read about..

- DVD Video DJ'ing
- Live internet Connection in the booth directly linked to a stream which is then linked to a channel on a mixer (Now thats upfront) to get a track that has been finished that second over the other end of the globe..
- Surround Sound Mixing

Cant remember anything else at this stage....

Fill me in guys, Whats hot/not in the new technologies sector?
