you got a really full sounding track here!

at first listening i found the start a bit standard.

break was very good and uplifting with a good melody, breakbeat was good. this track would work wonders on the dancefloor!

second very short break... could be longer just to build anticipation for the next hit.

around 6;59 an evil eighties sounding synth... i like it. it gives the track a sense of darkness.

overall there are a few things that i would change just to make the track sound a bit less typical. melodies are good and would sound even better with less blatant sounds.

id definately dance to this anyway!

Thanks ... but what means "blatant sounds" ? sorry, my english stoped there :P

And regarding your thread, i really don't know what could make does 'clicking' sounds :/ sorry. And ive never worked with Cubase by btw.

sorry.

better words would be 'obvious' or 'typical' trance sounds. try assigning your midi to different synth sounds until you find something that works that you like but doesnt sound like a typical sound. thats what i do every now and again...

cheers for checking my thread. have a listen to my track and tell me your criticisms/likes if you have time...

Substorm,

Good one! I like your beats, might be a bit bottom heavy for clubs tho. Very nice production overal. I do not want to get into producytion techs now but for composition I could say the following. Actually I like the first part of this track the most. If it was me, I would leave out your "main lead epic trance theme" and go for a bit more raw, Ron vd Beuken style lead. Just play simple 2 or 3 note riffs to add energy and tension.

I feel you loose the tremendous energy from the beginning of the track (and ending!) as you introduce the more commercial trance theme. Keep it dark dude, it is more original and more powerful.

cheers,

BB

Hey mate.I think it hiss a little at points that synhts are full on.Otherwise first part is beautifull, brake at the middle is ok (maybe for others is good or amazing) and last part is good and uplifting but needs a touch at the level of the synth that "screams" a lot.The melodie is very nice.
Not my cup of tea but I must say that you make nice job
