PLEASE POST IF U LIKE THE IDEA!!!
l had a good idea the other day... What if someone mixed the tunes that u vote for and want to hear!
If l post a list of 40 - 50 tunes, they will be a combo is old tunes and new tunes. .Then l willpost a poll with the tunes and take the most popular 10 - 12 tunes and mix them !!!
Would u peeps be interested in the idea ??
l will post the list if l get any one interest in the idea......

i will participate
good idead but i would mix 2 sets,one with brand new tracks the other with classics?
alot of ppl are put off by the idea of a mix containing new tracks and old classics.
Classics set:
John Vesta - Gull
Major League - Wonder
Tiesto - Sparkles (Transa Remix)
Lucid - Crazy
New Trance:
Mr.Sam - Lyteo (Rank 1 Remix)
Icone - Sintra (Nicholas Bennison Remix)

l like the idea for an clasics set and new set.
l will post about 40 tunes for the classics set, from about 1997 ish through till about 1999/early 2000.
Hope that should be cool for everyone!

It's quite a cool idea but it might not prove practical if you end up with a bunch of tunes that won't go together well. I'm particularly thinking of the screaming key clashes you might end up with! If there are enough to choose from it should be ok, though.
I'd want a bit more information on the genre of tunes you are after as well before making suggestions. One that should be included from a classics point of view could well be:
BT - Flaming June (BT vs PVD Original Mix)
I snapped it up on vinyl after hearing it dropped in an essential mix after a bunch of much newer material. It still worked fantastically.

In answer to some of the questions, lm a eurphoric/uplifting and progressive DJ. So you can get an idea of what sort of flavor the mix will be.
l think that the tunes that l will be going into the set should all go together in some form or other.
The answer for whos going to mix it. l will mix the set, it will have between 10 - 12 tracks so the most popular tracks the poll will go in the set. l decided to make it 10 - 12 tracks so it can fit on a 80 Min CD.
The set its self will be edited so all of the mixing works pefectly, then will be mastered and finlly run through a valve interface so it can smooth the sound out. Once that is all done it will be compressed in 320Kbps MP3 and posted on my website/If anyone has the webspace then l could upload the WAV of the mix so no quality is losted.
Hope that keep's everyone happy 
P.S - If anyother DJ's want to mix the set then they can, the only rule being that you have to use the tunes that have been voted for. It could be interesting to see what diffrent DJ's do with the tunes and how they mix then... Just a thourgh
