Ha ha ha ha, Beba Lounge is NO good.

So I wanted to go check out this great place called Beba Lounge that everyone was talking about for the last couple of weeks.

We walk up to the door and I peer inside and see a fairly empty place and the Gino at the door says "Sorry guys, it's REALLY packed and the cover is 10 bucks".

I laughed and walked away.

Larissa and Laura go to the door and there is no cover for them. Neither any cover for a group of ginos.

Now come on, if you want to start a night on a weekday, just be happy that people are coming and buying drinks. Don't charge a cover or charge a 2 dollar cover to EVERYONE. None of this bullshit about certain peeps paying and certain peeps not paying.

All I wanted was to check it out for an hour, like I am going to pay 1o bucks for it. Please. I would rather buy 2 drinks. Or go watch TV.

Crap, that sucks Margs.. heh, you guys should have stayed at WISH

BAHAHAHA we just walked in - full of ginos anyway - sooooo not worth it.

Strange. I've been there for a handful of Thursdays since May and it was always free and a wicked time... I've never seen them charge cover on a Thursday.

Maybe u should call the management to inquire about this. I'm not sure if the promoters = the management, or door guy = employee, but if no outside people are at the front door, and they're bilking 'non-upscale' people at will, that doesn't give the place a good name, and they may wanna know about this stuff.

Not trying to offend anyone but that place sucks. It's your typical wannabe gangsta gino bar where fights break out regularly. I happened to spend last new years there and had the worst time ever (I was out of there at 12:30am).

Not to mention the bouncers at the door think their hot shit, pfff!

did you go on a staurday night when mute was spinnin? cause those nights were pretty damn sweet (awesome actually), crowd was ok, and that older bouncer was really cool proffesional guy.

there is a dress come and if u go after 12 there is cover charge but i never went on a thursday night so i cannot say.

It's funny how they charge cover on College St. They are probably the crappiest bar on the strip and they charge cover, screw that. I would recommend Lily over Beba anyday, and I'm pretty sure they don't charge cover and they have a way better crowd.

They only places on College that should be charging cover are Revival & Mod Club.

Wow, this is surprising to hear. I checked out Beba last week for the first time, and I had a great time. No problem getting in, no cover, no bull shit, nothing. The front of the bar was all whack, but the dancefloor was packed, and everyone was having a great time.

Too bad you guys had a shit night..

It's not like this on Thursdays.. it had a sick crowd throughout the summer with Deko-ze playing an amazing set a few weeks ago.. Don't judge a place because you went there once on an off night (especially New Years). All the 'Full Moon Thursday' nights I hit were good - it sounds like they stopped those as of last night (September maybe?) - since each time I went it was always the same guy at the door, and he wasn't a 17 year old gino.

Recommending Li'ly is another mistake, as you and I both know it is a gino supremo bar and not a place to listen to great music and bust it out.

im pretty sure theres still a few weeks left on sept 15th i believe is de-koze and sydney blu

The only redeeming part was when the guy at the door refunded 2 of our friends' money after we explained that they had only gone in to look for us. No hassles about it or anything.

That was a little bit of redemption on their part.

Yeah kkefka and I met up with Lars and then at the bar. He charges us 10 each to get in aswell. I went to the dance floor and seriously had enough room to dance without problems..... it was Shit because there wasnt enough people in the place to charge us the 10. We left about 2 mins after said we wanted out money back and walked out.. definatly a dissapointing night! for the beba lounge.

I believe Sydney Blu runs those nights, but I'm not 100% sure.
