"Evacuations by boat were halted after armed looters threatened medics and overturned one of their boats.

Widespread looting and random gunfire have been reported across New Orleans. Police told CNN that groups of armed men roamed the streets overnight."

If they act like that. Then let them rot. If that hurrican katrina page is as pussy and bleeding heart as it sounds like it might.

I pose this alternate view.

that's what im hoping for, but it will only cause more unrest if they do start shooting the looters. cuz i bet you 90% of the looters are black!

just got word from my marine buddy that he's heading there, with real ammo, no beanbag shit.

I do concur. However, I'm sure thanks to our "help" his wish shall be granted and then some.

Obviously the problem aren't the people looting grocery stores and clothing stores looking for some sustenance or basic necessities. The problem are the armed gangs who are:

A) Raiding hospitals stealing medicine and drugs
B) Shooting at rescue helicopters, police men, guards troops, and rescue personel
C) Roaming the streets raping, robbing, and pillaging stores, etc.

They most certainly deserve to be shot if they continue such behaviour.
