[trance] Kemjo - Coryza 2005 (full 256kbps)

This is a remake of one of the first things I ever wrote when I started producing - done mostly for nostalgic value.

a very thick track with loads of sparkle.

it sounds similar to '1998' the gouryella rmx in its epicness. around the 1;50 mark i thought it sounded quality and hoped the kick would come in while the rest sounded this subtle. but it got a bit too crowded. its almost as if the track is constantly building up. i recon it would be cool to have a section where the melody isnt present where the track goes off at a tangent with possibly a massive breakbeat or something? sounding like around the 6;35 mark but beefed up maybe? however the track remains rather sophisticated as it is...

very crisp production and a definately playable track midway through one of my three hour sets. would it be ok to play this?

Thanks for the feedback.

I know what you mean. I usually have those spaces with no melody in my other tracks, but with this one, I took a melody I already had, and I kept adding to it. Maybe I'll make an extended version and add some spaces here and there, like a club mix or something.

Oh and feel free to play this if you want!

How's this - I rearranged it a bit, it's about 2 minutes longer, and the breakdowns are more pronounced (as in, there actually are breakdowns now) and it follows a more 'typical' structure.

it is now a lot more non repetetive in the xtended mix. equally i enjoyed this but it allowed for more build up in the track. im not sure which i prefer now...

ill have a proper listen tomorrow. tonight i couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery.. im that drunk dancin to shite like beyonce all night....

both are keepers i think

ps. ill have to say its very rude that no one else has bothered to review this...

This track is CLASS

Really good indeed, not the extended, I haven't downloaded that one, but the first one, damn really nice, the only thing it kind of bother me in the beginning was the hat was too sharp, I would fix it equing down a bit the high frequencies, or keep it sharp but toning down a bit its volume.

An yes, I'll be playing this as well, this is perfect when the set gets to that point of maximum climax.

Great Job. Two Thunbs Up.

Well about the EQ, consider that I only have 20$ cheap PC speakers that practically only play bass, and a pair of less-than-perfect headphones. So I'd rather not play with it too much, I'd probably screw it up even more!

Worm Popper

i hear some familiar percusion, Love Comes Again.... perhaps it me. the hihat is def too sharp. everything else is produced real nice.

very very nice breakdown. absolutely awesome. i like how the bass is going the whole way through. this track is awesome. it is screaming anticipation.

i listend to the rework you did.

You're pretty observant I must say. Yeah, I was trying to do that percussion (always loved that thing)
