Smiley DJ A Different Perspective - Mixed by Mikey ©

Ok, I haven't been on here for a while because I forgot my log in details and yes I am an idiot! Sorted it out now though and I've recently done a new mix, well a couple actually, but this is the most recent. Please let me know what you think and I'll try and be a bit more active on the forum in general as well!

Thank you.

MikeyC - A Different Perspective

There's a nice selection of stuff in here, from a progressive breaks track through to some progressive house and finally into a little bit of progressive trance. Some of the tracks are new, some are old and a few I have used before in other mixes. I created this set to try and provide something really interesting to listen to that also showcased the type of music I like. I'm planning to give it to a few bars and hopefully get some work.

I'm well aware that the first two tracks are the same as on Shiloh's July mix but it wasn't blatant plagiarism, I assure you! I did get the idea of using 'Surrender' as an intro tune from Shiloh's mix but was using a different first track on my mix until near completion when I discovered I had track 2 in the wrong key. I swapped track 1 for 'Surrender' and then discovered I had the same start as Shiloh when the mix was completed, oh well. The rest is completely different, anyway.

I hope you enjoy listening to my mix and, as always, any kind of feedback is welcomed. Either post on the forum or send me an email and I'll get back to you.

Cheers

Mike

Hey guys

I see a number of clicks/views so if anyone who has had a listen could leave some feedback, that'd be great. Good or bad feedback, both is welcomed.

Thanks. I had a listen to that and I thought it was technically very impressive. I'm not really into that style of music any more though so I'm afraid the tunes weren't my cup of tea. Solid mixing however and you can't argue with 10 tunes in 30 mins!
