viva is about a 3 minute drive from my place but i refuse to go there. i have been there once and i dont like partying with asians.

i will be at footwork tonight for some real music.

is it because its a non asian club or is it because its a all black club or is it because its all paki club. Or umm maybe it is cos of the music and the feeling you get by hearing the tunes that from the artists you respect and admire.

i dont think its a good enough excuse for not going to a club because its a majority asian or white or black or orange or purpule club. if you truly are a music person and you truly enjoy what EDM offers then partying with asians shudnt be a issue. i have been to viva a few times now and yes it is a mjority asian club but you know what thats the good thing in my opinion cos those asians really have a good vibe to them with exception of few whom you can easily ignore if you choose to. and then again you have good and bad for every club you go to. but still you excuse is not even an excuse its more of a diss to your own people.

for me, every factor plays a role.
i go for the music, the crowd, and the vibe. i prefer a mixed crowd with a little bit of everything. i dont like the vibe at viva at all probably because of all the asians that just stand around at the side and do nothing and trying to act like triads. most of them at the side just give you cut eye, never smile and look like they want to fight.

Don't get me wrong, when I go out clubbing with the purpose of music, it's why I'm there in the first place. It could be all seniors, all people that my family would oppose, all MTL TA's (you get the picture ) in the place and I'd still be there. But if someone does complain about the general atmosphere, I can agree with them 100%. I've been there 3 times and only once have I seen good atmosphere (Cor/Mark Norman) and it was right in front of the DJ booth with the people on the site we're on right now.

I'm not bashing on the music, the music is great but all you have to do is go to 1 decent European/International club to realise that everyone who is on the dancefloor is going as crazy or crazier than the TA's at Viva. Then you have an atmosphere that is magical.
