Just Got the "Dope" and Sex Talk

It's my 2nd year of college.. wtf. I didn't get this last year?

I'm moving in tomorrow and mom comes in to say "don't you dare be smokin' any dope with anyone. And if you fool around with girls, be sure to have a condom."

I never understood how awkward this conversation is. Jesus.

i got it a month after i GRADUATED college.

rofl! i made the mistake of telling my mom "uh.. mom you're a little too late on this" (meaning, i knew what sex and dope are) and she took it as me not being a virgin anymore and FLIPPED OUT. i almost cracked up.

but ah well, at least she made the effort, albeit it 10+ years late on the sex ed!

If you were moving back in after leaving, then you'd be getting the rules according to Hoyle as well. WTF do you have to pain your folks once again? Couldn't you make it on your own?

I am 31 and never received the sex or drug talk....either my parents didn't care about me or they just thought I would never do drugs and never have sex.....if only they could see me now

I never had an official talk. My parents claim that they just made it a point to mention something about each casually to me once every blue moon. Guess it worked, although I don't ever recall them mentioning anything sex-related to me.

ROFL...i got the sex and drugs talk about 5 years ago when I was leaving for Bangkok(Bangcock in this context) for the first time. Mom went 'Don't you dare fool around with any girls, the women there are hardcore, all they want is your money, don't bring any girls back to your dorm and stay away from drugs'
