Heya guys & Gals
A friend of mine recently lent me the Stereophonics album Language, Violence, Sex, Other. Superman is the first track on the album. As soon as I heard it I though that melody would make a cool trance track
and well need I say more?
I wanted to create something a little more chilled than my usual stuff, but still be very melodic & still have good dancefloor impact so to speak
This is the result. A chunky, uplifting trance track that would go well with a melodic or more chilled set.
All critique positive & negative appreciated (as usual)
Hugs,
Brendan
P.S.
Wim, dont worry man, I have been working on that midi u sent me, Im just a slow ass bastard just ask Fundy

very interesting. the breakdown totally took me by suprise, very nicely done.
the main bit seems to have less power than the intro, though.. maybe because there is no big build-up leading up to it, dunno
anyway, good stuff overall. loving the percussion.. watch the kick though, it seems to disappear behind the bassline a bit at some points.
great job
reviewing while listening:
mhh nice beat & percs, I like them...
I understand that TOR means: the bassline needs less attack (imo), & the kind of phased acidline is a bit overcomped...
The breakdown is absolutely amazing!
The exit of the break seems a bit fast, try to wait a bit... It'll fit better imo!
The saw pad is not really exciting, try to do some weird style with the LFO
!
The use of the vocals is a bliss btw...
Nice work man!

really nice track had listnted to it about 4 time till now
the phased acidline i didn't liked
but the melody is great..
Sounds cool mate, quite original track!
I did think some things sounded a little dry, could use more wetness.
I also noticed a 'click' sound when the ripped loop came again during the break - might be wise to get rid of it cause it is quite apparent
Cheers,
Wim
PS: Don't rush it mate, better take the time you have. I know how it is to be lazy, yet not wanting to

really good use of the guitar sample from tthe original. when that comes in its great! the vocals could have been a bit more prominent in my opinion. really crisp production. nice work.
crazy good. i feel like you have achieved all those goals you set out to accomplish with this track.
Nice riff
The bass is awasome.
For some reason it sounds like Tranqulity Base - Razor Blade.
The breakdown comes too early.
The vocals are nice.
Nice melody
Very original
I would like to hear more hihats.
Nice stuff overall.
4/5
Omer
I reckon this is fantastic!
Breakdown is really really nice to listen to
Vocals are growing on me too
I like the acid bassline on this. Thought I wouldn't but i did!! Keep it coming buddy
top bootleg
I'm very impressed with the percs in this one!!
That effect at 00.27 I can remember!! You used it in the Evanesence (Hello) remix, hehe
The lead-melody in this one is great. Exactly what I like! And the bass-change is spot on
Wow, I'm at 2.20 now and I can't wait to hear what's coming! Oh...someone talking. Nice atmopshere. Smooth melody here
Flows very well with the bassline and the percs. Quality production
Very very very impressed.
When the melody of the track kicks in at 2mins 40sec - that on a dancefloor - would rip it up I rekon
Epic!
