Simple question. Is it hard?

Is it worth paying 200 bucks or more to get it fixed, or should I do it myself?

But seriously about doing it yourself, if you've never done electronic work and such it might turn into a serious headache.

We'll, I'm a complete noob when it comes to things like that, but my dad knows these kinds of things so I figured if no special tools or anything is needed then he'd probably be able to replace it for me...
