The most fun you've had i mean...Considering everything....not just music but vibe, etc.

My top 5 are:
1) PvD @ Twilo, NYC April 13 (BANGING set! Best vibe!)
2) PvD @ Amnesia, Ibiza Sept 6 (why #2? Cause I was in Ibiza w/ my closest friends, dancing to my fav DJ...the most memorable party experience)
3) Sasha/Digweed/Lawler/J van M @ Space, Ibiza Sept 2 (incredible party)
4) PvD @ Twilo, NYC Feb 9
5) PvD @ Avalon, Boston August 10 (great vibe! pvd rocked boston)

Best time i had in 2001 was Paul Van Dyk at Twilo 4/13. Anything else would be a distant second. I didnt go out as much as i would have liked to this year.

Same with that Space party. I thought that had the best vibe I felt since April @ Twilo.
I wanted to hit up that technoclub party but we went to Pacha instead (we would have been to amnesia 3nights if we went and my friends werent having any of that. all about variety to them). I had a blast @ Pacha...what a beautiful club.

Phazon: Yep in NY, all the parties sucked booty after Twilo closed. Tiesto at World was the most fun I had in NYC since then...pretty sad. Tiesto put a BIG ASS Smile on my face that night and it was good to see that great live performance by Cassandra (Rui de Silvo)...something different.
Seaman @ Vinyl was a good party also...

My worst parties this year:
Every Party @ Vinyl except Seaman this year (Jimmy Van M/Lee Burrige party sucked, Tenaglia sucked, etc... missed DEEP DISH DAMMIT!!)
Every party I've been to @ Exit this year (2: Ms Vazquez - sucked & nobody was there, Tiesto - Crowd ruined it)
Scott Bond @ Roxy (saw him @ Avalon and was awesome, then bombed @ the Roxy)

It was JAM packed...no room to dance, my pants were too tight & I partied too hard the night before at Technoclub. He played Another Way! My fav track of all time. 9-12 the terrace was jam packed w/drunk ppl. No place to even stand! For hours which felt like an eternity we were hiding from 2 british guys from our hotel...DRAMA! After they left to catch their plane we finally enjoyed ourselves what a relief & ran into some ex Twilo heads. S&D were awesome! I LOVE SPACE! Technoclub wasn't a popular party, never packed. There was no vibe or energy but I LOVED THE MUZIK! I danced for 8 str8 hours like a maniac. Damn those pills from Amsterdam were GOOD! hehe

there is an explanation somewhere in the profile section or something....but basically it follows the same pattern at posting an image in your post you tag the url like.... [.img]http://www.....[./img] remove the period marks...I had to use it so that the command would show

HAHA! Well it sounded interesting to say the least.

Yeah we took alot of photos with a disposable @ Amnesia and guess what...none of paul came out either! We were so cracked out that the pics we took of ourselves were all screwed up even. i mean some pics had half my face in it (like eyes and up) & the rest of the picture was of god knows what. The only pics that came out decent were pics of us dancing and looking like a bunch of cracked out homo-s ! Personally, I loved that he dropped for an angel.... it kind of puts a stamp to end a typically great night and send us home. You know I was supposed to meet up w/ Push01 (never did... he pm'ed me 4days AFTER I left for Barcelona! LOLs... oh well.)

I stayed the hell away from the terrace cause it was worse than canned sardines in there. I finally went in the terrace ~11:30, sang happy b-day to sasha @ 12 and then went back into the main room to join S&D. What a friggin' party!
I wish i got some of that amsterdam stuff.... i swear some nights i thought i bought asprin.

hehehehe...well this board's main clientel isn't based in America! SO there are only a select few from the NyC area actually post in here. Plus there aren't alot of BS threads in here...like people saying "hey" and stuff. It's mainly talk about partying, clubs, the scene etc. Most of the chatting goes on in the main music discussion forum and the chill out room. I have the same avatar for another board I post on. But my name is diff...hehehe I should have just kept the same name...it would have made it easier for peeps to identify me. What other boards are there that are decent.. I don't like club planet.... I just registered for Ezdreamer last week...that seems like a cool board. Lots of peeps post there from the area and they seem to have a great love, appreciation and understanding of the scene.

hehehe I didn't say it was about Toronto...all I said was their main clientel wasn't in America....which basically means I'm talking about Europe and Asia as well...those forums move pretty fast from what I understand. This board has way more forums then Ez...which is why the NyC forum is slow bc why would someone post a BS thread here when they can do it in the chillout room... Diff logic behind the setting up of the boards...that's all.

The aggressive thing... yeah its one side effect you get from shooting steroids (besides shrinking their 'little friends' to an oblivion and getting pimples on weird parts of the body ewww!)... people that tend to shoot steroids are inherently aggressive & stupid to begin with.

my god it must be great to be 21! I wish..... i'm 28. alittle old for this kind of stuff but i need my release! actually i used to party like a maniac when i was 24-7 (ah the good old twilo days) but now i've chilled out alot...(except for ibiza this summer/fall...omg!)

Yeah! LOL, I saw that building everyday for 3yrs when I worked right across from them on Wall street (60Wall) until we sold our building to Deutche Bank (I work for JPMorgan. I finally moved off to midtown. downtown was depressing even before 9/11!)

One of my closest friends used to do operations (i'm figuring thats what you're doing?) for F/X @ Goldman.... he hated it and he worked nutty hours.

hehehe...yeah fx sucks...its operations...the shit hole of any company....I wanna get my ass into front office...but it's hard with them being on wall st (#63 hehehe right across the street) and me being in NJ. We just leased a new building so they are moving back office to NyC again! Thank GOD! I'm gonna network my ass off when I get there! lol I really want to get into account managing. I've made good contacts in this one dept... they think I'm the greatest! lol even sent me a christmas present to thank me...but I'm hoping to schmooze my way in there eventually. The hours are crazy here! I used to work all kinds of crazy hrs...now I'm 8:30 - 4:30. I even worked on the night shift for a while...as well as USD payment processing and the like. I've got a pretty good background in money movement foreign and domestic. Anyway that's my job! lol

Yes, I know Mike...I saw him there that nite...he might have introduced us. I really don't remember to be honest...I'm horrible with names but amazing with faces...I never forget a face.

Yeah I'm young...well 21...but I've been partying since I was 18-19 and I'm approaching 22 soon. And I feel old for some reason! lol

You're friend works for Goldman...a friend of mine works for them too...some sort of special assignment thingie...I dunno I never really got into it with him. All I know is that he makes good $$$$.

wow you've got great hours! He used to work 90+hrs a week (this was quite a few years ago). He's been transfered to HK (asset mgmt group i think) and is pretty much living the life over there, getting paid an exuberant amount of money (considering all his living expenses are paid for).
If there's one thing I've learned over years on the 'street' is that it's all about WHO you know not WHAT you know. I'm sure you've heard that a million times over but its true. Yeah, the front office is tough to get your foot into but if you make the right connections, you'll get there eventually. You're still very young and it seems that you're ambitious enough... there's no doubt you'll get there.

What does my job entail? haha good question...sometimes I even get confused on what I do... basically I work in the production side of research. I used to electronically distribute all our research to outside vendors (multex, thompson's financial, reuters, bloomberg, zacks, etc...), clients and internally to our own websites & sales force. But I moved away from that and now I concentrate on managing the team in creating special JPM branded research products/reports. Products like the global equity coverage list, global equity weekly, tech & tel daily/weekly, morning meeting highlights, etc.... in another words, fairly dry stuff.
