The five-week arena jaunt will run through a Dec. 9 show in Fairfax, Va., and includes a rare club show Nov. 26 in Las Vegas. The Raveonettes and the Bravery will alternate as opening acts.
The upcoming run precedes a 2006 European tour, which begins Jan. 13 in Dresden. According to a spokesperson, 520,000 tickets have already been sold for the outing, which has been marked by instant sellouts. It will close April 2-3 at London's newly renovated Wembley Arena.

NOV 18th, holla!!

Awesome... too bad it's on a Monday but I'm still gonna try to make this!
I'm so there - Nov. 18: San Jose, Calif. (HP Pavilion)
It's been a while since I've been to a DM concert. The last one was their 86-98 singles, didn't get to see them during their Exciter tour. Although I really like their 80s through early 90s material, they are still my favorite band and what got me into electronic music.
I have never been to one of their concerts. This would be awesome. Who hasnt listened to Depeche Mode at some point in their life.
Your top 5 Depeche Tracks or STFU.
1. Strangelove
2. People are People
3. Enjoy the Silence
4. Personal Jesus
5. Black Celebration
It's only when I lose myself in someone else that I find myself.
Enjoy the Silence is good too.
Depeche Mode in Atlanta Nov. 5th!! \o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/
Enjoy the Silence
Halo
Love Thieves
Blasphemous Rumors
Shake the Disease
My favorite 5 Depeche Mode tracks. I've seen them probably 20 times now starting from 1987. Rose Bowl I was there too.
1. Waiting for the Night
2. Halo
3. Question of Time
4. Its No Good
5. Shake The Disease
I can't just pick 5, but here it goes...
1. Policy of Truth (what got me into DM and my purchase of "Violator")
2. A Question of Lust (what made me stay with DM)
3. Strangelove (undeniably DM, arguably the most recognizable song just from the first few notes)
4. Somebody (sappy, but if a goth-y, rebel was to ever croon about falling in love, this would be it... in a weird DM way, this all makes perfect sense, doesn't it. haha)
5. Just Can't Get Enough (yes, I said it... campy but you know you were grooving to it way back then. lol)
Damn you, Hyper for making me only pick five!

I could pick 20. Seriously.
I got into them at the groundfloor in the early 80s and then was there the entire time. I liked them best during the Music for the Masses / Black Celebration / Violator eras. They are probably the one group who more so than any other, made electronic music cool. Anyone who makes dance music today (and has been for a while) has in some way been influenced by Depeche Mode.
Somebody
Route 66
Shake the Disease
Just Can't Get Enough
Enjoy the Silence
1) Enjoy The Silence
2) Leave In Silence
3) Shake The Disease
4) The Sun And The Rainfall
5) Photographic (Some Bizzare Version)
Another great DM track. I could name 20 just like Hypersky mentioned. Before there was trance for me, it was all about Depeche Mode. My favorite tour since I've seen them has to be the Violator tour. Be sure to check Depechemode.com for concert presale. They always take care of there fans.

Why does it have to be on a Monday?? Why???
I work untill 8pm and there is NO way out of it.
*pray* that is starts after 8 *pray*
They have The Ravonetts opening which means they will probably start at 9 - 9:15. Gives you one hour to race over to Staples. Also looking at the dates, it looks like its set up for multiple shows. They always have them here.

I saw them a long time ago at Perkins Palace in Pasadena. I remember somebody was supposedly "roughing up" Dave Gahan's girlfriend in the crowd and the guy went berserkly.
They toured a couple of years ago doing large outdoor shows. I talked to a friend who saw them in New Mexico and was disappointed in the song selection. You probably won't hear a greatest hits type set.
My favorite DM was the Vince Clark era.
