4 phono? hmm..I know the vestax pmc15 mk2 is a 4 channel, but I think 1 is just lines
on the other hand they do have a new version of it out with the PVC faders, which might have 4 phono...I dont know.
Haha, lexicon the warez king himself ...
Do you need 4 phono inputs on 4 independent channels (so you can play 4 decks all at the same time) or do you just need to hook up four decks ?
Allen & Heath Xone:62 and Xone:464 both support 4 phono sources. I think the 464 would be overkill for normal DJ applications, the 62 though is highly recommended. Amazing build and sound quality. If money isn't much of an issue definitely go with one of these.
Stanton RM-100 has 4 phono hookups on 4 independent channels, but I have never used this mixer so I can't really comment on it's quality. It does look good on paper though.
Ecler SCLAT-100 Modular Mixer can be fitted with 4 independent phono channels ... you can just change the modules to add functionality ... excellent and very flexible mixer but I do NOT want to know how much it costs.
Vestax PMC-400, PMC-46MKII and PMC-55 also have 4 independent phono channels. Excellent mixers, quite pricey though.
J-spot, none of the Vestax PCV series have 4 phono inputs ... even the 4 channel ones have only 3 phono in.
As an alternative, why don't you just buy a separate phono pre-amp ... that way you can simply use the Line inputs on your mixer for your turntable.
One more thing, why are you selling the Roland ?
ima check into the vestax...hehehe
im sellin the roland so i can get some extra cash for the 4 channel...i hardly ever use it anymore....theres nothing wrong with it...just ive been stickin w/ my pro sm2 as of late.
i do love the roland though...if you ever want to set a standard for eq adjustment, i recommend using the roland..it just simply kicks asss (<----Sales pitch) :P:P:P
thanks for your comments skywarp....u is da fackin man....
