What can I expect from a live Nu NRG set?

I'm gonna be attending my first Nu NRG set @ Spirt NYC on the 23rd and everbodt says there live sets are incredible, has anyone ever been to one, and how long do they usally spin for? Plus I heard they DJ Live, meaning do they make the music there or what?
